COVID-19 Safety Measures
The Reserve Bank of Australia Museum has introduced social distancing measures to ensure the safety of its visitors. On arrival to the Museum you will be requested to sanitise your hands and check-in via the Service NSW app. For more information on staying safe during COVID-19 please visit the Department of Health Website.
Notice to casual visitors: Events in the museum space occur throughout the year, which may cause disruption to normal opening hours.
Exploring Australian Banknotes
Explore the nation's current issue of polymer banknotes in an interactive presentation on the notes security features and production process. Audiences will also be taken on a historical journey through the Reserve Bank of Australia Museum, and hear the story of our evolving banknotes against the backdrop of Australian history.
